1972 Jaguar XKE
Offered for sale is a 1972 Jaguar XKE that spent many years in storage before receiving an extensive recommissioning. Major mechanical work has been completed, consisting of the engine and cooling system, including new cooling fan relay, new coolant reservoir tank, replaced cylinder head gaskets, cleaned out cylinder walls and cooling passages, replaced timing chain tensioner, replaced water pump, replaced all valves in both cylinder heads, replaced valve seals, all new gaskets (including heads, valve covers, carbs, timing cover, water pump, oil pan, intake plenums, tappet blocks, etc), rebuilt all 4 carburetors, replaced various fuel hoses and vacuum hoses, installed fuel filter, replaced coolant temp sender and replaced lower radiator hoses. A well-presented example with important recent investment, this XKE offers the appeal of a storied classic with much of the initial revival work already addressed.
The XKE is now just a pleasure to drive, from performance to shifting to handling cornering, etc.. Power steering, power brakes, cold factory air-conditioning, rear defrost, factory radio and more.
